Julie Moody – Assistant

Hi, my name is Julie and I have worked for Dr. Guyer since 1994. I truly enjoy working with patients and feel that my duties as an assistant are fun and challenging.

I reside in Niles with my husband, two daughters, and our dogs. When I’m not working, I love to read, shop, and spend time with my family and friends.

Pat Ryder – Scheduling Coordinator

Hi, I’m Pat and my duties include scheduling appointments and providing excellent customer service to our patients. I am inspired by how straightening teeth can impact a person’s confidence and enjoy getting to know our patients and their parents.

My husband, son and I live in Niles where I was born. When I’m not at the office I enjoy traveling up north, flower gardening, reading, and photography.

Tonya Baker – Financial Coordinator

Hello, I’m Tonya and I’m in charge of keeping all our patient accounts straight from insurance billing to monthly statements. I enjoy working at an office that helps make people feel good about themselves and love seeing our patients when their braces come off. The smiles are beautiful!

I live in Granger, IN, with my husband, two daughters, and zoo of fish, hermit crabs, and dogs. I am a praise and worship leader at my church and youth group leader at Mountain Top Community Church in Elkhart. In my spare time I help with guidance ministries Christmas room, camping, fishing, spending time with family and listening to music.

Jennifer Sturdee – Assistant

Hello, I’m Jennifer and I have worked for Dr. Guyer since 2002. I started as the records technician and now assist chairside and am in charge of the inventory. I enjoy working with the doctor and our patients to give them a beautiful smile.

I live in Niles with my two children and fiancé, and in my spare time I like attending my children’s sporting events, reading, camping, and volunteering for the Special Olympics.

Linda Kohman – Registered Dental Assistant / Treatment Coordinator

Hi, I’m Linda and I have been working with Dr. Guyer since 2004, though I have been in the orthodontic field for much longer. I enjoy working with this team on new patient consultations and love to see our patients’ smiles when their braces come off.

I have lived in South Bend, IN, with my husband for 19 years. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, sewing, watching movies, and spending time with my husband and family.

Kristin Baker – Registered Dental Assistant

Hello, my name is Kristin and I have worked for Dr. Guyer since 2004. This is a great place to work because there is such a team atmosphere and everyone works so well together. Our patients are the best!

I am a native of Watervliet and have lived in Buchanan since 2002. My husband, Dave, and I enjoy fishing, hunting, volunteering at the BCYF when we’re not playing with our son, Wyatt, and dog, Chevy.

Mary Smallwood – Lab Coordinator

Hello, I’m Mary and I have worked with Dr. Guyer since 1989, processing impressions and making retainers. I love interacting with the great staff here and learning about the technological advances Dr. Guyer brings into the office.

I am a native of Buchanan where I currently live with my husband, Jack, and daughters, Jaclyn and Kirsten. In my free time I enjoy camping and attending my children’s school activities.

Tamicka Corbin–Johnson – Records Coordinator

Tamicka meets and greets all the new patients to our office by starting them out with complimentary x-rays and pictures. She also helps with same day impressions. You will see her at the end of treatment as well when she takes your final photographs. Tamicka graduated from IUSB Dental Assisting program and has worked in the field for 3 years. Tamicka had a chilhood fear of the dentist so she wants to help other people avoid that fear. She has been with our office since April 2010. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is seeing the patients smile at their final photograph appointment. She resides in South Bend, IN with her husband Bradley and their children Kaliah, Brandi, Gabriel, Bradley II, Crystal II, Brayden, Breonn and their dog. When not having family time she enjoys dancing, shoe shopping and volunteering at Sr. Maura Brunnick Health Center.
